M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education

M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education serves educators from all settings – schools, youth organizations, camps and more – who are interested in the theory and practice of experiential Jewish education. M² helps educators consider their own practice using new conceptual frameworks, enriched by creative methodologies that can be implemented in the classroom.

Focused on values-based education, M² offers a range of professional development opportunities, including a 10-month in-depth program for Senior Jewish Educators, community-based “Labs”, customised workshops, and a certificate program in Virtual Facilitation. M²’s flagship program for Senior Educators takes place annually, over the course of three, five-day convenings, in which participants gain exposure to signature educational pedagogies, multidisciplinary frameworks and cutting-edge methods that enable them to articulate, refine and sharpen their practice as Jewish educators. They also benefit from individualized coaching and the community of practice of a diverse educator cohort. Training is available in English, Hebrew and Spanish.

For more information on all M² resources and programs see www.ieje.org. For the Senior Educators Cohort, see https://ieje.org/senior-educators-cohort/
